Privacy policy

In force since 30 October 2026

2026-10-29

This policy explains what data the WEB portal uses, why, for how long, and what your rights are.

Who is responsible for your data

Warner Music France, 118 rue du Mont Cenis, 75018 Paris, France, SIREN 712029370, EU VAT number FR03712029370, the company behind the Parlophone label, is the controller: Warner Music France decides why and how your data is used.

Who runs the portal

DEPARTMNT LABS UK LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16465558), builds and hosts the portal. DEPARTMNT acts as processor, only on the instructions of Warner Music France and under a data processing agreement.

The data we use

Your name, your email address, your birth year and, if you tick them, your choices to receive news.

What you do on the portal (page views, plays, unlocks), counted without ever keeping your IP address.

Why

To create and secure your account and give you access to members only content.

To check your age: in France you must be at least 15 to sign up on your own.

To measure how the portal is used and improve it.

To send you news, only if you agreed to it.

News by email and notifications

Two separate boxes, never ticked for you and offered only from 18: WEB news by email, and Parlophone / Warner Music France news.

If you allow notifications, you get release alerts. Promotional notifications need your consent and are for over 18s only.

Each consent is recorded with its version, language and date. You can withdraw it at any time from your account or the link in every email.

Cookies

The portal sets only two kinds of cookies, both strictly necessary: the language cookie, which keeps your choice between French and English, and the sign in cookies, which keep you signed in.

No advertising cookie and no tracking pixel on the portal. Two players come from third party services: YouTube videos, played in privacy enhanced mode only when you press play, and the Spotify player for the EP tracks, for signed in members only. These services may use their own cookies inside their player, under their own rules.

Audience measurement

Audience measurement is first party and works without cookies. A random id (dpt_vid) is kept in your browser for at most 13 months to count returning visitors.

You can turn it off here, no account needed: the id is then deleted.

How long

Your account and your choices are kept while your account exists, then erased when you delete it.

The audience measurement id is kept for at most 13 months. Statistics kept longer are anonymous.

Proof of your consents is kept for as long as needed to show they were given.

Your rights

You can access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict its use, object to its processing, take a copy of it and withdraw your consent at any time.

You can delete your account from the menu. You can also complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr).

Contact

For any question or request about your data, write to hello@departmnt.xyz: we pass it on to Warner Music France and help you exercise your rights.

You can also write directly to Warner Music France, at the address given above.

Changes

If we change what we collect or why, we update this page. Anything that needs your consent will be asked for again.
